AUO said that its circle AMOLED display panel is well received by clients and the soaring shipment is predicted to contribute to double digit growth rate in Q4. Besides, VR products is emerging rapidly mostly for the gaming application and AUO supplied the products with 5.5-inch OLED display panel.
Fwu-Chyi Hsiang, Executive VP & GM of Mobile Solutions Business Group, pointed out that the character of OLED’s fast reaction speed just qualifies the needs of VR products to make it so proper to apply.
Due to the fast growing gaming application market, AUO is positive for the VR product development and regard it as the future bestseller.
