ITRI’s Big Data Analysis boosts 10 percent revenue of Momoshop

TAIPEI, Taiwan — The Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) unveiled its Big Data Analysis cooperation with Momo.com Inc., a local online, TV and catalogue shopping company, in the company’s online shopping site momoshop.com.tw. ITRI’s Big Data Analysis combines more than 10 various multi-algorithm to perform timely computing in analyzing user behavior. This technology has boosted 10 percent revenue of Momoshop.com.tw, the Hsinchu-based institute said.

“ITRI’s Big Data Analysis can be applied to E-commerce, digital media, market policy and advertisement. Our Big Data Analysis combines more than 10 various multi-algorithm to perform timely computing in analyzing user behavior precisely that is at the same level with Amazon and Netflix.” Computational Intelligence Technology General Director Yu Shiaw-shian said.

It also offers professional computation platform consulting services in order to let clients have better understanding and knowledge to utilize the platform efficiently.

The technology can reduce the entry barrier to support local companies with entering into the big data era, and the hardware cost by analyzing industrial needs and providing adequate consultancy for mid-term and long-term business planning.
