TAIPEI, Taiwan — CES 2016, the biggest tech show of next year, is right around the corner. Relatively, Samsung’s latest flagship, the Galaxy S7 won’t make its debut at CES next year.

The HTV Vive will surely be the highlight for Taiwanese smartphone provider HTC. Besides smartphone, Huawei is also going to release the Huawei Watch, which is arguably the sleekest addition to the Android Wear family this year and the latest speculation suggests the Chinese company is prepping more editions.

The Huawei Watch aims at the female market so needless to say it is a female-friendly version of this year’s watch that will soon pop up at CES 2016 in January.

As a matter of fact, The original Huawei Watch is way too big in terms of its size, especially for women. Source says in addition to the female version of Huawei Watch, the second-generation of which is also under development and it will be announced after the second quarter of 2016.

Furthermore, the second-generation of HTC Vive Developer Edition will be introduced by the company’s Chairperson Cher Wang at CES 2016, the SteamVR controller will be optimized in all aspects.

Nevertheless, judging from the CES 2016 media invitation from Samsung, the company forecast “TV and home appliances innovations” will be unveiled. In other words, its newest flagship smartphone won’t be seen at the CES 2016.

Since most smartphone providers won’t showcase its state-of-the-art handsets, therefore, the new Samsung Galaxy S7 is arguably the most anticipated product launch at MWC next year.

CES is a global consumer electronics and consumer technology tradeshow that takes place every January in Las Vegas, Nevada.
