TSMC last week announced their consolidated revenue for March, which totaled NT$73 billion. This was an increase of more than 20% from last month and represented a slight growth over last year’s revenue during the same time period. The total first quarter revenue was approximately NT$203.4 billion, which was slightly higher than the NT$203 projection from the previous quarter and 8.3% lower that last year’s revenue during the same quarter.

Entering into the second quarter with the return to the normal amount of working days and clients’ continual launching of new products, TSMC’s revenues are expected to increase.

In addition, sales of Apple’s new iPhone SE has also exceeded market predictions which signifies that, including TSMC, all of the supply chain companies will experience improved revenue performance.
