Delta will continue this year to increase the size of their labor recruitment, which will mainly be the recruitment of software personnel, and they will also develop the company in the direction of being a solutions provider.
Chairman Yancey Hai pointed out that to deal with early product components they are moving towards becoming a subsystem provider and currently they are also providing solutions services for clients.
Taking Industrial Automation (IA) as an example, with the trend of automation in China’s manufacturing industry, Delta will make use of electrical machinery coupled with their own control system to deal with Industry 4.0. In addition, they will use value-added software to enter into the Internet of Things (IoT) and develop in the direction of high value-added in the future.
Chairman Hai also stated that Delta’s services have been affected by the industry and Delta facing restructuring and the continuation of the subpar global economic market situation this year; however, the company will still spend time on their basic functions.
Chairman Hai also pointed out that Delta will transition in a jump of approximately five years. Taking the development of IA as an example, Delta begin to enter into it in 1995; however, it was not until recent years that it yielded successful results. He emphasized that they will take it one step at a time with a stable stance.
Furthermore, because the world is changing, last year’s Climate Summit verified that they will place controls on global temperatures from rising more than two degrees Celsius. Consequently, Delta will lead the world in meeting this target for energy-related businesses.
