DRAM and NAND Flash Chips Remain SK Hynix's Core Products: MIC

"Meanwhile, SK Hynix currently holds 15.3% of the global NAND flash market, ranking fourth after Samsung, Toshiba, and Micron. This is mainly because its technology and production levels are yet up to par competitively with industry giants like Samsung and Toshiba." Kevin Tu said
Among its products, SK Hynix focuses most on the development of DRAM and NAND flash—in particular, DRAM, which was what the company was founded on.
"In 2015, close to 75% of SK Hynix's revenue rely on DRAM chips and 22% on NAND flash chips. Together, these two products drive around 97% of the company's revenue," Tu explains.
Its other non-memory chip businesses form a much lesser share of the revenue. These non-memory chip businesses, comprised mainly of CIS, followed by a very small proportion of PMIC (Power Management IC) and Drive IC, represent around 3% of the company's revenue.
