Taiwan Launches “TW GOOD”, A Cross-border Marketing Services Platform for Malaysian

TAIPEI, Taiwan – To Help Taiwanese brands to enter the southeast Asia e-commerce market, The Innovative DigiTech-Enabled Applications & Services Institute (IDEAS) at the Institute for Information Industry (III) introduced a cross-border mobile social marketing services platform: “TW GOOD” (http://www.buytwgood.com/) to increase interaction opportunities between the two regions, and has targeted Malaysia as its first operating country allowing Malaysian to buy Taiwan’s classic products easily.

TW GOOD was themed with “One-stop-shopping for all good things,” which integrated with most popular Taiwan travel APP in Malaysia and cooperates with Taiwan-based navigation services company Kingwaytek Technology to provide a platform that concluded popular information, tourism and food, consumer information of Taiwan.

Zhou Shijun, deputy director of IDEAS, said, “TW GOOD is not only for Malaysian customers who is interesting in shopping and travelling information of Taiwan, but also provides B2B matching service for Taiwanese firms and Malaysia sales channels.”

In order to promote the “TW GOOD” platform and attract more Malaysian users, the IDEAS convened Malaysia's seven major e-commerce platform vendors including 11 Street, EasyShop, Gemfive, i-Pmart, Lazada, Lelong.com and Logon.com to join a series of promoting event during October 24 to 26 in Malaysia, and Taiwan’s well-known brand companies comprising Acer, Asus, Arwin, mother noodles and Nin-jiom will also participate in this event.
