According to the strategic cooperation agreement, the two sides will focus on the development of sensors, display, graphics, data visualization, human-computer interaction and other areas of the core technology of VR, to carry out the exemplary applications of the virtual reality technology in terms of medical, military, engineering, design, manufacturing and other professional fields.

In addition, both sides will cooperate an innovative system for enterprises, colleges, scientific research institutions and investment institutions to participate in and develop with. actively

"As a leader in the virtual reality industry, HTC has the most innovative technology and experience in the world," said Cher Wang, chairman of HTC. "We look forward to integrate HTC's global advanced technology with world-class talents via China VR Research Institute and Shenzhen VR Industry Fund."

And the Shenzhen VR Industry Fund will invite all enterprises of the virtual reality industry chain to work together, and introduce private capital and venture capital from China and other countries to support this project. The total investment of the project is RMB 10 billion yuan initially, which will be operated in the form of industrial fund.
