TCA pointed out that in order to encourage innovations and small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs), the Jury's Special Award was permanently established as a BC Award for various competition events (as long as a product has unique characteristics, and even if it has been created by a small start-up, it is eligible to win a BC Award under the judges' recommendations).

TCA also explained that COMPUTEX is an index of communication procurement platforms in the Asia-Pacific region. In response to global digital economic development trends, the main businesses sought by overseas buyers utilize communication products which place great importance upon AI commercial applications. Hopefully, the addition of these competition events for official awards will elicit more IoT solutions and showcase the strength of Taiwan's digital transformation.

The companies which win awards will not only be able to showcase their products in the BC Award Product Area of Nangang Exhibition Center Hall 1 and be viewed by the forty-thousand overseas buyers who will be attracted to the exhibition, but will also be able to participate in the opening ceremony and award ceremony.
