TECO Using Cold Chain to Raise the Vaule of Madou Wendan

Taiwan - This year TECO Corporation once again handed up with the catering group to jointly participate in the KAOHSIUNG FOOD SHOW 2022. And the company for the first time cross-border cooperated with Taiwan Peasant Association to use their freezing/refrigeration Solutions in low-temperature storage of the Madou Wendan. The solution not only can extend the storage time of fresh food, but also provide more reliable quality of food processing.

Meanwhile, TECO announced its new high-performance and energy-efficient solutions for the food processing, aquaculture, and animal husbandry industry to upgrade their equipment to accomplish the goal of energy saving.

Among these, it can achieve high-efficiency air distribution management in air condition applications by using TECO’s Full DC One-to-many condensing unit with its refrigerant distribution technology and operates both frozen and refrigerated simultaneously.

Peng Ji-Zeng, general manager of TECO Air Conditioning and Smart Life Business Group, pointed out that the collaboration with Madou Farmers Association not only aligned with the policy of the Council of Agriculture but also hope to raise the value of the products and non-staple food of agriculture and fishing in Taiwan.

Today, using TECO’s cold chain equipment can extend the freshness of the products of agriculture and fishing to meet the specification of ISO22000:2018 and ISO23412:2020, making HACCP certification acquiring more easier. And in the process of transforming into non-staple food processing, it provides a good, safe and hygienic processing area, which maximizes the value and food safety of processed specialties such as grapefruit tea or grapefruit sausages produced by Madou Farmers Association.

Peng Ji-Zeng said that he expects that after this cross-border cooperation is successful, the upgrade experience of this refrigeration and refrigeration scheme can be copied to the National Agriculture and Fisheries Association in the future.
