Six ix categories of industries of Hsinchu Science Park, in addition to the communications industry decreased 10% by slowing demand of satellite communications systems, fiber and other factors, the rest of industries, such as integrated circuits, optoelectronics, computer , precision machinery and biotechnology had grown.

In Central Taiwan Science Park(CTSP), due to the construction of factories have completed and entered the operational stage of mass production, growing demand for mobile devices, IC design industry started to import 28-nanometer process, driven revenue reached historical high of NT$ 45.99 billion, as well as the growth rate of 42.2%.

CTSP said that the most important outcome of last year was bike brand Giant to set up manufacturing headquarters and R & D center.

As for Southern Taiwan Science Park(STSP), revenue reached NT$ 6,151 billion, but the growth rate decreased 1.1%. NSC said that the main process of STSP’s IC industry is 40 nm, the growth was below anticipation for market factors, but the optoelectronics industry revenues continue to grow.
