The Supply Chain of iWatch to Warm Up for Production

TAIPEI, Taiwan- According to Taiwan media reports, Apple iWatch watch may launch in October this year, while Taiwan's iWatch supply chain will be ready to supply and trial production, including assembly company Quanta, component suppliers Richtek, TXC and KINSUS.

Reported that, Quanta is the main assembly plant of iWatch, will include orders about 70%, will begin iWatch trial production next month, Quanta is also the assembly plant for Apple iMac.

Currently, iWatch’s supply chain, in addition to Quanta, also includes packaging and testing company-ASE, power control IC company-Richtek, IC Substrate company-KINSUS, soft board-Career Technology, electro-acoustic components factory-Merry, quartz components-TXC , GPS components-Royaltek, and display screen will be supplied by LG.
