InFocus Launches 4G Flagship Smartphone M810

TAIPEI, Taiwan — InFocus, which is a close OEM/ODM partner of Foxconn group, unveiled its 4G LTE flagship smartphone M810 in Taiwan. InFocus has penetrated in Taiwan's smartphone market for one year, according to a market research institute GfK that InFocus ranked in top five in terms of handset unit sale in June.

“Last summer, InFocus debuted in Taiwan. We're still working on the premium but affordable product. Now that we have six handsets ranging from high-end to entry-level,” said Ed Fisher, President & CEO at InFocus Consumer Products Division, “Our flagship M810 is a delicate and sophisticated artistic handset that supports all 4G bands in Taiwan.”

Wang Ke-lun, Product Planning Manager at InFocus, pointed out that high specs with low cost has always been the core concept of InFocus, which will enhance its market share by unveiling more new products. “Our goal is to be ranked in top three in Tawan's handset market in terms of market share.”

Getting to specs, InFocus M810 packs a 5.5-inch Full HD display, a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor clocked at 2.3 GHz, 2 GB of RAM, an Adreno 330 GPU, 16 GB of storage, a 13-megapixel CMOS camera with autofocus and a 5-megapixel front facing camera. This device also brings LTE 4G connectivity and its body measures only 6.99 mm.

The phone is covered by Gorilla Glass 3 fitted into a metal frame which allows it shine fabulously when illuminated both in front and back, the price of which is NT$9,988, way much cheaper than those flagship handsets of iPhone, Samsung, and HTC.
