Mxtran: It's Best to Combine Mobile Payment With SIM Card

TAIPEI, Taiwan — Mobile payment has been viewed as one of the next big things in the technology field, which means paying bills directly by handset. Taiwanese firms participated in the CARTES SECURE CONNEXIONS 2014 from November 4th to 6th at Paris Nord Villepinte Exhibition Center in Paris, France, saying that nowadays people almost can't live without handsets so that mobile payment is a potential market.

CARTES is the global event for payment, identification, and mobility that encompasses the leading international and regional exhibitions and conferences devoted to smart technologie is being held in Paris, France, many Taiwanese firms, including XAC Technology, Weltrend Semiconductor, and Mxtran participated in it as well as Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) held a “Taiwan Smart Network Businesses Forum” there.
The Executive Vice President of XAC Technology Chuck Chagas said that the mobile payment won't replace case or credit card at the time being, however, new payment like ApplePay is a better and more convenient payment method.
Huang Shao-wen, General Manager of Mxtran, suggested that mobile payment made handsets as wallet or purse, “nowadays people almost can't live without handsets, once we lost wallet or purse perhaps didn't aware of it, but as long as handset has gone, one would probably notice within 10 minutes or half an hour.” He concluded that it's best to combine mobile payment with SIM card.
