Dayeh University Provides 3D Printing Service for Teachers and Students

TAIPEI, Taiwan — Dayeh University Computer Center provides 3D printing service for teachers and students from this new semester, which allows them to print out their designs as toy figures.
Zhgn Gu-yao, Director of Dayeh University Computer Center, said that there are lots of 3D printing applications that can be applied into Industry, Manufacturing, and Medical Services. “Many schools and departments also developed 3D printing technologies for the time being, the Computer Center is going to provide 3D printing service for teachers and students that is subject to payment.”
Wu Min-shu, Assistant professor of Bachelor's Program in Multimedia Digital Content at Dayeh University, expressed that the principle of 3D printing is similar to the traditional printing but with different printing materials. “The material of 3D printing ranges from plastics, stones, and metals that prints layer by layer to form 3D objects.”
A student of Dayeh University stated that thinking it from 3D angle is important when using 3D printing, and they are excited to print out their own designs of toy figures
