Quanta: Shipment of Apple Watch is Going Steady

TAIPEI, Taiwan — Quanta Computer celebrated its 27th anniversary of factory last weekend, Barry Lam, Chairman of the company pointed out that Quanta is still young under the age of 27, he hoped that the company will be reformed and turned over as the launch of Apple Watch. “Apple Watch by OEM Quanta is going steady.” said the Chairman.

“2015 will be the year of fast growth of Quanta.” commented by the company’s Vice Chairman C.C. Leung. On the other hand, the hardship of Apple Watch by OEM Quanta has been overcome.

C.C. Leung said that after Apple Watch hit the market, which will be the unmistakable trend of wearables. He considered the main reason is that there are a lot of easy-to-use iOS Apps. “Apple Watch is a convenient, novel, and interesting application.”

However, allegedly, the low defect-free rate of Apple Watch OEM by Quanta that resulted in the poor shipment. “The defect-free rate is going steady. The fact is with the great amount of orders that the supply can’t catch up with the demand, and it will be better in the near future.” C.C. Leung added.

Meanwhile, C.C. Leung is confident in the 2015 notebook market. “The first quarter is always the low season, and the second quarter will outshine the first quarter. Hence, the last two quarters will be better than the first two quarters. With the Win 10 is debuted by the year’s end, which will be the new driving force.”
