TAIPEI, Taiwan — Guidercare, a Taiwanese RFID solutions and wearable healthcare device provier, seized a chance to illustrate their latest smart home with Bluetooth 4.0 technology. The company’s Vice President Leo Lee stated that the evolution of personal healthcare has entered a new era to smart home. “We are probably the first to apply Bluetooth 4.0 into indoor positioning.”

“Guidercare uses Bluetooth 4.0 to determine indoor positioning. By studying daily patterns of the wearer, we can pro-actively find out and predict when a little abnormal situation is occuring.” said Leo Lee.
“Tracking and monitoring daily life patterns will help smart alerts on abnormal rhythm.” added Leo Lee. However, Guidercare has become the healthcare total solutions provider either personnal or smart home. “We tailor all in one turn-key solutions including web dashboard, apps and back end portal.”
Furthermore, alerts to carers or doctors can be triggered and setup based on each customer’s needs. Applications are humongous such as bed time, daily activity in each room, medicine reminder, alerts when the user is staying somewhere longer than the usual, etc.
