MOE’s Fab Truck is in Chiayi Senior High School

The truck is in National Chiayi Senior High School untill June 12(MOE)
TAIPEI, Taiwan — 3D printing begins at school, Ministry of Education aims at promoting 3D printing among its youth and to solidify the country’s reputation as a talent pool for 3D printing, the Executive Yuan has just announced the development of mobile digital fabrication laboratory, known as Fab Truck. The truck is in National Chiayi Senior High School untill June 12.
According to Executive Yuan, over the next two years, these Fab Trucks will embark on a very ambitious project, visiting 497 high schools throughout Taiwan. Throughout that project 160,000 students and teachers are set to come into contact with 3D printing.
In addition, the truck will enable high school students to experience and play with 3D printing themselves through presentations and workshops. Therefore, this will nurture a whole generation of talented creatives that are familiar and comfortable with 3D printing technology. This should transform the island nation into a creativity land.
However, the truck is in National Chiayi Senior High School untill June 12.
