TAIPEI, Taiwan - Taiwan Fair Trade Commission is conducting an investigation whether Qualcomm breaks Fair Trade Act by charging enabling technology fee.

Chiu Yung-ho, vice chairperson of Fair Trade Commission, said that the Commission is launching an investigation into Qualcomm alleged adoption of limited competition measures, like monopoly or cartel.

In addition to Taiwan, China has fined Qualcomm with large penalty and the company also faces another antitrust investigation pursued by South Korea and EU.
