WISE-PaaS is a software platform that ensures IoT hardware such as sensor modules or gateways, as well as data generated from these hardware devices, can be utilized by cloud services.

With this alliance agreement, MBEL will be provided with server/agent software & SDKs, sample code/source code, usage license of Microsoft Azure, IoT data collection gateway hardware and IoT embedded systems, as well as product training and support.

Through cooperative business activities and promotional events, both companies will provide one-stop IoT solutions to end customers or to system integrators who are proceeding with implementation of the IoT.

The two companies are especially planning on IoT market development in areas such as production sites of various manufacturing industries, public/social infrastructure, environment/energy, etc., where wireless sensing technology can be utilized.
