TAIPEI, Taiwan - Appier, a technology company that provide services for businesses to use artificial intelligence (AI), announced yesterday their University-Business cooperation with National Taiwan University to make artificial intelligence to be more applicable for many fields.

Appier has the expertise to do Big-data analysis by AI to provide brand marketing solution and develop strategic business plan. NIKE, IKE, Taiwan Mobile Company and Shin Kong Mitsukoshi are all their clients.
Dr. Hsuan-Tien Lin, associate Professor of Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering at National Taiwan University, will be the Chief Data Scientist on this project and Appier will provided NT$2 million to increase the AI related research and thesis in National Taiwan University .
Professor Liang-Gee Chen, Vice President for Academic Affairs at National Taiwan University, said that Taiwan has all outstanding software talents but international arena. The joint education-business plan can lift the engagement and achievement in data analysis technology in Taiwan, which is likely to be the next-gene. TSMC.
