This Taiwan NCC certification offers greater flexibility to manufacturers of devices requiring both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity. Thanks to the certification, u-blox’s customers can minimize the certification process of their end products, reducing time-to-market by 3 to 6 months.

The ELLA-W1 is a host-based multiradio module series and ODIN-W2 is a stand-alone multiradio gateway module. They both provide support for dual-band Wi-Fi and dual-mode Bluetooth and can be used in a broad range of applications such as smart energy, healthcare, manufacturing and telematics.

“Following a comprehensive certification procedure, we are glad to announce that our ELLA-W1 and ODIN-W2 short range radio module series have been approved for use in Taiwan,” says Ming Chiang, Country Manager of u-blox Taiwan. “In a rapidly growing market, time to market is the key to customers’ success and we are excited that with the NCC certificate to our short range radio module series, we can help the customers minimize their product certification process and reduce their total development costs.”
