According to a survey from MIC (Market Intelligence & Consulting Institute), a Taipei-based IT research institute, over 70% of mobile payment users in Taiwan show a positive attitude towards mobile payments.

After asking the respondents "Do you agree or not to continue using mobile payment to make transactions, acquire merchandises and use services in the future," over 70% of mobile payment users completed the statement with "totally agree" and "agree", 26.8% with "neural," and merely 2.1% with "disagree" and "totally disagree," according to a questionnaire-based survey conducted by MIC.
"This reflects that over 70% of mobile payment users have high levels of willingness to continue using mobile payments while 35.2% of mobile payment non-users show interest in using mobile payments," says Hephy Hu, industry analyst with MIC.
