COMPUTEX Shifts Attention to New Startups

TAIPEI, Taiwan - The closing press conference for COMPUTEX TAIPEI 2017 was held on June 3. At the conference it was announced that this year 41,378 industry professionals from 16 countries around the world visited to take part in the exhibition, and this was an increase of 1% from last year. Furthermore, located in the World Trade Center Hall 3, InnoVEX attracted 14,977 people, which was a 36% increase from last year.

According to statistics, COMPUTEX 2017 had a total of 41,378 people in attendance from 167 countries around the world. In terms of participants at the exhibition, the top ten countries were Mainland China, Japan, The United States, South Korea, Hong Kong, Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam, Malaysia, and India. Of the top twenty countries in terms of participants, the countries with the largest increase in participants were Thailand (30.63%), Indonesia (22.52%), India (20.86%), Vietnam (20.44%), and Russia (14.81%).

In addition, this year (2017) InnoVEX formally entered its second year, and with 272 new overseas companies, accelerators, and incubators in attendance from 23 different countries and regions, including Taiwan, South Korea, France, China, The United States, Singapore, Israel, Hong Kong, Denmark, and India, it has become the largest innovation exhibition exchange platform in Asia.
