THine Announces Establishment of Interface Technology for Image Sensor Cameras, VBOC
Published: Dec 11,2017THine Electronics announces establishment of THine’s original interface technology for image sensor cameras, VBOC (Video By One Cable/Connector for Camera). VBOC is interface technology that provides more than tenfold transmission effective band as compared with existing interface technologies for transmitting images from image sensor camera to frame grabber, while securing compatibility of cables, connectors, and control communication protocol.

While THine’s high-speed interface technology V-by-One HS is now used as interface in most of 4K televisions in the world as de facto standard, THine has established VBOC as interface technology for image sensor cameras based on V-by-One HS. VBOC can expand transmission effective band, which has been 2.04Gbps at the maximum with Camera Link Standard, to 25.6Gbps at the maximum. Moreover, since connectors and control communication protocol compliant with Camera Link Standard can be used without change, users can change interface system without burden.
“VBOC is based on V-by-One HS technology, and secures compatibility with existing interface technologies. Users can make products with stable high-speed transmission technology and widen transmission band,” says Yasuhiro Takada, CEO of THine Electronics.
