AAEON Receives Three COMPUTEX d&i Awards

The COMPUTEX d&i Awards are organized by iF (the International Forum Design Company) and the Taiwan External Trade and Development Council (TAITRA), and they’re handed out every year at COMPUTEX Taipei, Asia’s biggest IT trade fair. Now in their 11th year, the awards are acknowledged as a driving force behind R&D breakthroughs in the field.

The AIOT-IP6801 is a rugged IoT gateway device with an IP68 rating, M12 ports, and a -20oC~60oC operating temperature range. Onboard WiFi and Bluetooth, and additional support for LoRa technology, guarantees Internet connectivity.

The UPC-GWS01 is an ultra-compact, cost-effective IoT system that’s ideal for intelligent home and digital signage applications. Built around the UP Core – the world’s smallest quad-core x86 single board computer – the device features USB, HDMI, COM, and LAN ports and has WiFi and Bluetooth on board.

The BOXER-8120AI is a high-performance, low power-consumption machine vision system with support for four IP cameras. Utilizing the power of the NVIDIA Jetson TX2 supercomputer, the groundbreaking BOXER-8120AI integrates hardware and software AI solutions into a single device.

The prize-winning systems will be on display from June 5-9 at the COMPUTEX Taipei 2018 trade show, and AAEON will officially receive its awards during a ceremony at the start of the event. Company CEO Howard Lin said he was proud of the accolades, adding, “These innovative, new devices will help our customers better achieve their goals, and that will always be our first priority here at AAEON.”
