In a similar vein to coin-operated vending machines, payment at OKminis is more unique than regular vending machines as they are cashless vending machines specifically geared towards payment using credit cards, EasyCards, or mobile phones.

OKmart CEO Xu Yi-ru stated that currently there are a total of 200 to 300 locations from the north to the south of Taipei, and the goal is to increase this number to 1,000 by the end of this year. She explained that the locations for OKminis are in enclosed areas and are established primarily in accordance with local requirements; however, the mini-mart at Taipei City Government is the only location to date with an open layout.

Taipei City Government Deputy Secretary General and Commissioner of Finance Mr. Chih-Ming Chen stated that in order to allow city residents to experience the convenience of cashless payments, they will be marketed to government employees, students, and the elderly beginning in public institutions and schools. In addition to convenience stores at public institutions, the city government is also in negotiations with the EasyCard Corporation to establish consumer cooperative cashless payment systems on campuses.
