HOLTEK Release 1.8V~5.5V Operating Voltage New Serial EEPROMs

Holtek is delighted to announce the addition of new EEPROM devices to its existing EEPROM memory range. Known as the HT24LC02、HT24LC02A、HT24LC04、HT24LC08、HT24LC16、HT24LC32、HT24LC64、HT2201 and HT93LC46, these new additions are supplied in two interface types, I2C and 3-Wire types and have an operating voltage range of 1.8V~5.5V and a maximum operating frequency of 1MHz. The devices have a 106 rewrite cycle capability and a data retention lifespan of 40 years.

The HT24LC02 ~ HT24LC64 series, with their 2-Wire serial interface have an EEPROM Data Memory capacity range from 2K~64K, a working voltage range of 1.8V~5.5V, and a Memory structure range of N×8 bits. The maximum operating current and standby current are 5mA and 2uA respectively and the maximum operating frequency is 1MHz. These devices support byte write and page write functions. In addition, these devices support random read and sequential read functions, as well as having a write protect pin which if used will protect the entire contents of the device from accidental erasure.

The HT2201 utilises a 2-wire serial interface and has an EEPROM Data Memory capacity of 1K, an operating voltage range of 1.8V~5.5V and a memory structure of 128x8 bits. The maximum operating current and standby current are 5mA and 2uA respectively and the maximum operating frequency is 1MHz. The device supports a byte write function as well as random read and sequential read functions.

The HT93LC46, with a 3-wire serial interface has an EEPROM Data Memory capacity of 1K, an operating voltage range of 1.8V~5.5V and can be configured into a memory structure of either 64x16 bits or 128x8 bits. Instructions can be used to protect the contents of the EEPROM. The maximum operating current and standby current are 5mA and 2uA respectively.

The HT24LC02/04/08/16/32/64 & HT93LC46 are available in 8SOP, 8DIP and 8TSSOP packages, while the HT2201 and HT24LC02A are supplied in SOT23-5 package. These devices can be used in applications such as HDTV, digital televisions, set-top boxes, NB, main board machines, tablet computers, cordless mice, cordless internet cards, ADSL, networking products and other consumer product applications.
