By combining a low power consumption and high efficiency 2.4GHz RF Transceiver together with a Holtek 8-bit MCU, these new devices offer users excellent solutions for related RF applications.

The series of devices include a Flash Program Memory capacity of 4K, 8K or 16Kx16-bit, Data Memory capacity of 256, 384 and 512 bytes, an operating voltage of 2.2V~3.6V, an internal 8 or 16 channel high accuracy 12-bit A/D converter, up to four Timer Modules, a comparator as well as Low Voltage Detect and Low Voltage Reset functions.

The external 16MHz crystal oscillator is used both as a system oscillator for the MCU and as a frequency source for the 2.4GHz transceiver. This wide range of flexible features make these devices suitable for a wide range of RF battery products.

By using 32, 40 and 46-pin QFN small package types the devices can meet the needs of 2.4GHz wireless small profile applications. All devices meet with industrial specifications and have high noise immunity as is the case with other Holtek 8-bit Flash MCUs.

In addition to providing for different specification choices, these 2.4GHz RF Flash MCUs also provide highly integrated SOC solutions, which can reduce PCB areas and the number of required external components. With Holtek’s full suite of development and programming tools, product designers have a range of tools at hand to achieve rapid product development of customized products for new business opportunities.
