Powered by the Intel Atom D2550 processor, the AHP-1123 and AHP-2173 have a front bezel design and are rated at IP65 for their high level of resistance against water, dust and shock, making them ideal devices for system monitoring and human machine interface in places where extreme conditions are expected, such as outdoor laboratories and automated production lines.
Both models adopt a fanless design and have almost no moving parts, ensuring minimal noise during operation and reducing the risk of mechanical breakdowns. Heat is vented out of the system through a heat sink that also serves as the PCs’ back panel.
To ease maintenance and installation, the back panel is fitted with only 6 screws and can be wall-mounted using a VESA mounting kit. To further expand usability, both models are designed to be compatible with adjustable table stands and can be easily embedded into walls or other vertical surfaces. Multiple I/O connectors are also available for various expansion needs.
For the AHP-2173, its capabilities are further enhanced with an aluminium casing and an enlarged 17” screen. The AHP-1123 sports a plastic casing and a 12” screen. High heat tolerances offered by the metal chassis can withstand challenges from hostile environments, such as steel mills, automobile factories and oil pipe monitoring.
“Both the AHP-1123 and AHP-2173 are designed to strike the sweet spot between price and performance,” said Alan Chou, Product Manager of AAEON’s Panel Applicance and Automation Division.
“We will continue to expand our panel PC business with the introduction of more new and exciting models for even tougher applications”.
