The device has six analog signal input channels and implements signal conversion using two 16-bit A/D converters with a sampling rate of 20MSPS. Each channel contains a Clamp Voltage, Sample & Hold Amplifier, Programmable Gain Amplifier and Offset Adjust functions etc.
Each 3-channel output passes through a multiplexer which switches the signal to a high-speed 16-bit A/D converter, after which the dual A/D converter digital signal output passes through a multiplexer with a double edge-triggered mode. The device supports either 3-channel 16-bit or 6-channel 8-bit data output formats.
In addition to fully meeting the needs of future high-speed CIS modules, the device’s streamlined setup and its simple timing control resolve past issues in which AFEs have been inconvenient to use. This allows customers to achieve an unprecedented ease of use and accelerate the Time-to-Market performance of end products.
With regard to packaging the device is supplied in a 48-pin LQFP-EP package for improved cooling effects. The above mentioned features will ensure that this new device will provide an excellent solution for duplex scanning high-speed CIS analog signal processor applications.
