Including all the advantages of the BS82B12A-3, this new device also includes a 10-bit Periodic Timer Module, an SPI interface as well as the aforementioned 12-bit 8-channel A/D converter. The BS86B12A-3, having an internal 12-bit A/D converter, can be used to capture analog signals from the external environment, such as temperature, humidity or other voltage signals, etc. Another feature is the internal LED/LCD driver which supports 4 segments and which have current output control. This is able to drive LED/LCD displays directly without requiring additional external current-limiting resistors or transistors. The device has 12 fully internal touch keys which are shared with I/O ports. With its high level of functional integration the device can greatly reduce the need for external components thus reducing costs and increasing product reliability.
The device is available in 20-pin SOP and 24-pin SOP package types.
