HOLTEK New HT45R6Q-2/HT45R6Q-3 Battery Charger OTP MCU

Holtek has further expanded its range of battery charger OTP MCUs with the present release of two new devices, the HT45R6Q-2 and HT45R6Q-3...
As the device includes an internal shunt regulator it does not require an external zener diode or LDO buck IC to provide its wide operating voltage range of 8V~30V. The I/O ports can directly drive a piezo buzzer or a 100Ω~300Ω diaphragm speaker. Using an external audio amplifier the device can of course also drive a standard coil speaker. The device is supplied in a SOT23-6 package type.
To make the sound generation process a simple matter, Holtek provides a parameter software platform known as the Sound Effect Generator Wizard. This contains dozens of sound effects and can also simultaneously load up to eight different sound effects. There are also 200ms soft chirp and fade-in options. The software platform also provides an application circuit for users to reference and to accelerate their product design times.
