ASUS teamed up with Google in manufacturing ZenWatch, which is supported Android Wear and ZenUI operating system. It will support English-based voice recognition according to ASUS, but that the ZenWatch will support the Chinese language for voice support sometime before the end of 2014.

Its main features are health management and other applicatons. Jerry Shen, CEO of ASUS emphasized many times that it will be the most beautiful smart watch in the market.

ZenWatch can be paired with any other Android handset that features a 1.63-inch square AMOLED display with a 320 x 320 (278ppi) resolution, which stands out well in sunlight, and certainly more so than the LG G watch and Samsung Gear Live which use standard LCD screen technology. The vibrant colours certainly help the AW interface punch more so than previous Android Wear devices.

Powering the ZenWatch is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 1.2GHz 400 processor combined with 512MB of RAM and 4GB of storage. It comes with Bluetooth 4.0 for low-power connectivity to your Android smartphone and there is a 9-axis sensor and bio sensor added into the mix as well.

IFA is the world's leading trade show for consumer electronics and home appliances. It takes place from September 5 to 10, 2014 in Berlin.
