Innolux, a LCD panel manufacturing subsidiary of Hon Hai Group, said in its Q3 investor conference last week that its 8.6-generation LCD panel plant in Taiwan is expected to start mass production in the first quarter of next year and production capacity will be full loaded in the fourth quarter of 2017.

According to the Innolux, the monthly production capacity of this new 8.6 generation line is 45K. And it is not only going to produce 45-inch LCD TV panel but also produce 58-inch LCD panel.

Due to the imminent productivity, the insufficient production capacity of Innolux’s 58-inch LCD TV panel is expected to ease and will boost its 58-inch TV panel market.
