The Intel Xeon Processors include Intel Turbo Boost Technology 2.0 and Intel Hyper-Threading Technology to deliver improved performance and processing efficiency. Portwell's ROBO-8113VG2AR implements flexible PCI Express Gen 3 expansions with a choice of one PCIe x16, two PCIe x8, or one PCIe x8 and two PCIe x4 with dedicated processor SKU, which is ideal for a range of applications, such as Industrial Automation, Digital Signage and Medical.

ROBO-8113VG2AR supports Intel C236 and Q170 chipsets to provide up to 32GB DDR4 system memory with ECC or non-ECC option. In addition, ROBO-8113VG2AR utilizes the enhanced graphics engine integrated in these latest processors to provide significant 3D performance and Microsoft DirectX 12 support.

The processors can drive up to three independent displays via DVI-I (VGA and DVI-D) and HDMI up to 4Kx2K. The ROBO-8113VG2AR single board computer also supplies rich I/O functions, such as 10 USB 3.0, 2 USB 2.0, 6 SATA ports (dual ports via backplane) and dual IntelĀ® Gigabit Ethernet ports.

ROBO-8113VG2AR also implements four smart COM ports on-board. The smart COM port function can provide easier adjustment of RS-232/422/485 mode via the BIOS instead of jumper settings. User-friendly design allows customers to save the time and cost during system maintenance.

For industries that already have a large installed base, the ROBO-8113VG2AR not only provides a way to upgrade those systems to use the latest Intel processors, but also supports legacy elements such as VGA, four PCI expansion options, four serial ports and PS2 keyboard and mouse.
