TOD ( Touch on Display ), a process of integrated touch solutions and an on-cell touch technology, could be used in panel with touch technology especially mobile device, by virtue of its good performance in multi-touch, good sensibility, thinness as well as transparency.

Compared to traditional technology, through TOD, the total thickness is just 0.5mm by thinning the glass on the LCD panel plus touch sensor. Moreover, the solution, using single-layer ITO film, could reach superior optical effect than Capacitive Touch Panel

With 10 multi-touch, good sensibility and better S/N ratio, all products, needed panel technology, could adopt this innovative framework.

Wang Jyh-chau, president of Innolux, said on-cell touch screen will be the primary trend in the field of touch technology. Innolux’s TOD has demanded by the smart phone manufacturer, and it will extend reach to tablet.
