Asus, Intel Expand Cloud Storage Technology Cooperation

[Taipei , Taiwan ] Intel announced Tuesday, going to expand numbers of research plan in Taiwan , aims to work with academia, industry , and research institutions to accelerate innovation and growth in Taiwan. Beside, Intel will also magnify cooperation with Asus in cloud storage market.

Intel vice president and executive director of the laboratory Wen-Hann Wang said that Taiwan has been the world's IT industry innovation center, Intel will continue to cooperate with Taiwan , not only to speed up the PC field , and expanded to the Internet of Things (IoT), cloud storage , memory architecture , the emerging field of computing market.

Intel pointed out, Intel Labs and ASUS have cooperated together for the cloud storage providers to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness of cloud storage system early this year. The use of the Intel Labs years of research, differentiated storage service technology, and enhance storage efficiency.

Through this partnership, will allow ASUS cloud storage system to expand to the client devices , improve performance of cloud storage architecture.

Wu Han Zhang , general manager of ASUS Cloud Computing , cloud computing and Big Data will create Industry opportunities , ASUS has developed cloud technology for eight years , working with Intel , will effectively improve the quality and technology in the cloud computing field.
