TAIPEI, TAIWAN — Taiwan has again shown its Information Technology (IT) leader status to the world. Asus made efforts to complete its smartphone lineup, it unveiled 6 entry-level to mid-range smartphones at Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas on Tuesday. Innolux also grabbed the chance to demonstrate lastest high-resolution 3D 4K2K TV panel.

Asus has taken the wraps off the new lineup of ZenFone smartphones powered by Intel Atom processors that all of them boldly bearing Asus's branding and the newly-introduced ZenUI, a new user interface the company is rolling out with its smart devices.
Asus released the ZenFone series that the lowest price among which is only NT$ 3,001 (US$ 99), it is said that Asus will also unveil 7 new handsets in this year, not only using Intel processors, but also seeking partners from China supply chain.
ZenFone supported dual SIM and dual standby, and is going to releasae Time Division Long Term Evolution (TD-LTE) and Long Term Evolution (LTE) version on May. Asus also announced that it came out swinging for the U.S market with the help of companies such as AT&T and their collaboration on the new Padfone X.

pad, it is said that both sizes best suit American usage.
ODMs of ZenFone are Pegatron and Wistron, except for ZenFone's panel, Asus's smartphones' components and ODMs are all Taiwanese firms. However, since Asus is planning to unveil 7 to 10 new smartphones ahead 2014, in order to avoid manpower deficit Asus might seek for ODMs partners from China.
Asus never gives up on notebook, a 13.3-inch dual operating systems, Transformer book Duet TD300 was released on Tuesday altogether. Intel spoke in the opening speech that Lenovo and Dell are also their partners.
Innolux debuted its newest 65-inch 3D 4K2K TV panel, along with a 40-inch full HD panel module that conbined the front frame and rear panel can reduce cost for the branded and supply chain firms.
HTC will not unveil any new product at CES, but 4G LTE version and new colors of One and Butterfly S are offered at CES.
