3D printing is now big enough to warrant its own exhibit area at CES,
XYZprinting, Inc. belongs to New Kinpo Group that specializing in making 3D printers. The first entry-level 3D printer da Vinci 1.0 was unveiled on last August that its price tag is NT$ 15,000 (US$ 499), only one third of products on same level.
“From the opening of CES till now, it's always standing in a long queue to get our products, voice of our staff was hoarse.” said by Shu Jia-cheng, senior manager of XYZprinting, Inc.
Most of the customer was curious about the price tag of da Vinci 1.0 , due to the strong supply chain behind New Kinpo Group that help produce 3D printers in large quantities at low cost per unit.

According to the company, da Vinci 1.0 is an out-of-the-box printer with no assembly or equipment adjustment required, making it a plug-and-play personal 3D printer. It is equippedwith a three-step EZ Mode designed to make 3D printing simple and painless for users. With Smart Platform Auto Calibration, the distance between the nozzle and print-bed is automatically calibrated to the best position and software is immediately upgraded.
Printers mostly reply on Mechatronics, softward, and Materials Technology, none of which is limited by those international big companies so that da Vinci 1.0 can be sold in a inexpensive price.
CES, the world's largest annual consumer technology trade show, this year ranked a record high that more than 3,200 firms took part in, and the show ground was 200 millioan square feet.
Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) Exbition Dept. Director Liu Zho-Rui said that during the past two years Taiwanese firms actively took part in CES. Taiwanese medical products were rising 40% this year at CES.
