According to data from IDC, Acer’s Total Commercial PC shipments during Q2 2014 achieved 51.4% YoY growth, exceeding the industry average of 18.1%; while in Commercial Portable PCs Acer grew by 62.7% YoY surpassing the industry average of 30.1%.

In both categories Acer ranked No. 5. Acer performed exceptionally well in the Commercial Portable PCs “Ultraslim Notebook PCs” product category in 1H 2014 and was ranked No. 1.

Acer’s strong performance in the US commercial market can be attributed to a number of factors, including the range and strength of its product offerings. Acer’s portfolio currently offers an array of products for all types of organizations including Windows and Chrome OS based PCs.
