AmTRAN Technology demonstrated the driver anti-fatigue electroencephalography (EEG) to penetrate the truck drivers' niche market at Consumer Electronics Show (CES), and it will be rolled out in April. Wu Chun-fa, Chairperson of the company said that sound bar, EEG U-Wake, and LCD TV will be its three main product lines, and will be the company's growth driver in 2015, and continue to thrive in 2016.

The U-Wake is their debut wearables. According to the company, U-Wake is a EEG that can detect humans' brain waves, if the driver is too tired, the device would wake you up. It even can send messages to drivers' family to make a phone call as soon as possible to be wide awake, avoid driving tired.

Wu Chun-fa indicated that while other wearables are designed as health indicators, U-Wake is a EEG wearable, penetrating the truck drivers' niche market.
