AcBel Polytech to Launch More Industrial use Product Lines

TAIPEI, Taiwan — AcBel Polytech had suffered from slump in sales since the thrid quarter of 2014 because of loss of big server customers that led to bad performance of industrial power supply. The company to launch more industrial product lines to 50 percent to maintain its revenue.

IBM is a big customer of AcBel Polytech, with the view that servers and data centers turned into small size and customized so that IBM had slump in big server shipment, which affected AcBel Polytech in sales. The year-end revenue reduced 2.07 percent year-on-year.

According to AcBel Polytech, servers, disks, and data centers are three major markets of the company in 2015, the company will launch more industrial product lines to 50 percent to maintain its revenue.

Moreover, fuel cells will be the other driving force of the company, it added 3 percent in revenue year-on-year, it will be 10 percent in this year. Meanwhile, medical equipment power supply will be put into mass production in the first quarter of 2015, the major customer is Philips.
