Stan Shih participated an annual meeting of Computer Society of the Republic of China (CSROC), and gave a speech under the sensational topic “The Disappearing Computer”.
“The speech topic is a bit dramatic, computers are indeed disappearing but the computer technology is developing and growing endlessly.” said Stan Shih.
Moreover, Stan Shih further explained that computers are not disappeared, actually. There will be computers everywhere around us, but it has transfered into handsets, game consoles, wristbands, wearables, etc. These devices are not being called computers, which are perfect demonstration of computer technologies.
Meanwhile, the CSROC also awarded Stan Shih of the CSROC Fellow.
