Compal Electronics and Wistron Become Apple's 2015 Supply Chains

TAIPEI, Taiwan — According to the annual report of Apple, Taiwanese firms Compal Electronics and Wistron are listed in the Apple's 2015 Supply Chains, assembling iPhone and iPad, respectively.

Meanwhile, Wistron, Foxconn, and Pegatron are supply chains for assembling iPhone, while Compal Electronics, Foxconn, and Pegatron are responsible for assembling iPad.

Furthermore, Quanta covers the assembly of Mac and iPod, as well as Inventec does that of iPod. It is widely circulated that Quanta is the assembler of the coming AppleWatch, but it hasn't been confirmed by both sides.

However, Apple also said in a statement, referring to its

supply chains' employees are not responsible for the agent's fees by themselves, companies of the supply chains should cover the cost instead.
