“We would like to thank all of our users for their feedback and participation in the Surveillance Center 2.2 Beta Program during the past few weeks,” said James Su, Product Manager at ASUSTOR. “Their invaluable assistance has allowed us to smoothly launch the official version of Surveillance Center 2.2, bringing convenient new features for all ASUSTOR users to enjoy.”
Surveillance Center 2.2 supports the ONVIF Profile S (2.4.1) standard protocol, which makes it compatible with all Profile S certified camera products. Additionally, newly added interactive electronic maps provide a visual method for administrators to get an overall view of all IP cameras being deployed in large scale surveillance environments, allowing them to quickly get a handle on the current situation and effectively limiting any potential damage that could occur.
Furthermore, support for the newest version of Safari (8.0.2) optimizes the display performance of Surveillance Center on Mac systems increasing the refresh rate when viewing multiple camera channels and providing a smoother experience when navigating through the interface.
