The French pavilion will be showcasing innovative mobile payment solutions, as well as solutions on RFID/NFC technologies, identification and authentication in addition to card manufacturing. Leveraging on its cutting-edge technology, France is well-placed to meet the needs of the memory card, smart card and contactless card market offering key functions such as data storage, data modification and data restoration, card and holder identification as well as authentication.
The applications are specifically geared towards the banking, health and government activities (e-passport) sectors. However, they have high potential for use in aeronautics, automotive manufacturing, mass market retailing, industry, logistics, the textile industry, libraries, laundry plants and the ticketing industry.
The French pavilion will include nine French companies, which are ALCINEO, ASK, ELYCTIS, EMBISPHERE, SECURE-IC, STARCHIP, SMARTWARE, TRUSTED LABS and VFP INK.
