ASE pointed that from the standpoint of the availability of customer orders, the inventory problem of semiconductor market is going to end and the stocking effect for the traditional shopping season in Q4 could be expected.
Tien Wu , ASE chief operating officer, on the investor conference yesterday said that the inventory adjustment of semiconductor in general will not exceed two quarters and the shipment of communication products will increase firmly. Automobile, industrial and consumer electronics products will have little margin to grow, moreover, application of computer will be unchanged relatively.
Additionally, ASE expected its capacity utilization rate of assembly and test will be growing by one to five percent, EMS service will increase too.
