Developed in-house by Delta, thru its Telecom Power Solutions BU, the Golden Eagle power supply is intended for 4G LTE outdoor applications. The unit achieves an energy conversion efficiency of 96%. This makes it possible for telecom service providers to lower their operational expenditures considerably. Due to its wide input voltage range and high IP65 protection rating, the device is suitable for safe outdoor use.
The Golden Eagle is a radical departure from the conventional look of telecom power systems, with its compact and stylish form factor and built in full power functionality. This has led to its adoption by NTT DOCOMO, Japan's largest mobile service provider. The product has also been successfully selected by leading customers in USA for new small cell site deployment. The Golden Eagle has clearly been recognized as the preferred solution for mobile base station applications.
