SK Group Chairman Meets Terry Gou in Taipei

TAIPEI, Taiwan - SK Group chairman Choi Tae-won visited Foxconn yesterday in Taiwan, Foxconn chairman Terry Gou personally greet him. After the meeting, Gou said the two sides were discussing to cooperate in Taiwan, mainland China and India market, even the possibility in global cooperation in the future.

Gou said, SK Group is the third-largest enterprise in Korea, has outstanding performance in the telecommunications, energy, electronics, medical software and other fields, can complement Foxconn.

Taiwan's Economic Daily reported that the two sides are foucusing on the Indian market, including the smart factories, smart city and semiconductors.

Choi Tae-won said that the market is globalized, with the help of Terry Gou and Foxconn, can develop a variety of opportunities together. "not only in China, we also talked about India and other region." Choi said.

Foxconn cooperated closely with SK Group. Last June, Foxconn staked in 4.9% shares of SK C&C, a subsidiary of SK Group, of about $380 billion won, become its second largest shareholder.
